On February 27, a five-member Ghana presidential delegation, led by Asafo Tsiamiga Dzade—a royal family member, CEO of JA & ZLTD CO, Chief of Ho City, and National Executive Committee Member of the Ghana-China Friendship Association (GHACHIFA)—arrived in our city for a targeted procurement inspection of products such as new energy vehicles, fertilizers, mining machinery, and solar streetlights.
The delegation conducted on-site visits to several enterprises, including Henan Shaolin Bus Co., Ltd., Zhengzhou Apollo Fertilizer Co., Ltd., Zhengzhou Tianwei New Energy Co., Ltd., and Henan Xingkuang Machinery Co., Ltd. At Henan Shaolin Bus Co., Ltd., the delegation toured the new energy production workshop, electrophoretic coating workshop, and R&D center. Asafo Tsiamiga Dzade personally test-drove the commercial vehicles, buses, and coaches targeted for procurement, highly praising the riding experience, advanced production lines, and technical capabilities of Shaolin buses, and explicitly expressed procurement intentions for new energy buses. Subsequently, while visiting the production lines of Apollo Fertilizer, Tianwei New Energy, and Xingkuang Machinery, the delegation members showed strong interest in the products and expressed their willingness to explore procurement cooperation.
During the inspection and exchange, the Xingyang Municipal Bureau of Industry, Information Technology, and Commerce, along with the Overseas Chinese Federation, actively introduced Xingyang’s unique investment environment, well-developed infrastructure, favorable policy support, and abundant talent resources, addressing the delegation’s concerns in detail. The delegation members stated that through this on-site visit, they gained a more intuitive understanding of the development level and market competitiveness of Xingyang’s enterprises. They pledged to fully promote the transformation of this procurement intention into substantive progress upon their return, laying a solid foundation for deepening economic and trade cooperation between Ghana and Xingyang.
