Shaolin Bus is a vehicle manufacturer with the qualification of production of buses, special-purpose vehicles, and trailers, and the trademarks of the products include the Shaolin brand and the Shaolin Interstellar brand. Shaolin Bus is known as the “King of China Medium Buses” by the media .The company covers an area of more than 600 acres, with a total building area of nearly 120,000 square meters. The company has advanced and complete automobile production facilities, with stamping, welding, painting, assembly, testing and other production and testing lines, with production and various testing equipment, tools and fixtures more than 20,000 sets. The company carry out the quality control in accordance with the IATF16949 quality management system and the establish the informatization management system including PLM, MES, ERP, QMS, WMS, new energy monitoring platform, battery traceability monitoring platform etc.

Henan Shaolin Bus Co., Ltd. dates back to the establishment of Zhengzhou Automobile Modification Factory in 1983.
From 1983 to 1986, the company was established (formerly known as Zhengzhou Automobile Refitting Factory), targeting market gaps, independently developing travel buses and passenger-cargo vehicles, and winning the first prize at the inaugural Henan Province Automobile Exhibition and Evaluation.
From 1987 to 1997, the company continuously introduced innovations, with an average annual growth rate of about 15%. In 1997, Zhengzhou Shaolin Automobile Factory was restructured into a joint-stock enterprise and renamed Henan Shaolin Automobile Co., Ltd.
From 1998 to 2007, the company entered a phase of rapid development. Shaolin vehicles were exported to dozens of countries and regions in Asia, Africa, and Latin America, and sold in 31 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across China, successfully ranking among the top five in the industry. In 2006, Henan Shaolin Bus Co., Ltd. was registered and established.
From 2008 to 2015, in 2012, Shaolin Automobile was listed among the "China's 500 Most Valuable Brands" released by the World Brand Laboratory, with the Shaolin Automobile brand valued at 4.096 billion yuan.
From the end of 2022 to the present, the company has fully completed the upgrade and transformation of design and R&D capabilities, production and manufacturing capabilities, information management capabilities, and energy-saving and emission-reduction capabilities, quickly achieving the production and R&D of both fuel and new energy vehicles.
